I was listening to the "retoric" of the GOP's pick for President..

..and he began to preach that the "lowering of standards" would end
and that expectations would be raised, and that "No child would be left
behind"

I'm a reasonable Royal Ranger Commander, and I know I have "left boys
behind"
for their wild behavior seemed to block their reasoning and abilities to
recieve
the most basic instruction.. In the majority of Ranger outposts we have
children
who do not know why they are there or what to do with the expectations
we set.

This is very discourageing to a adult leader who attemps to provide a
balanced
temperment and full plate of features, as described in the LTC!

When we attempt to give a 'devotion... and every indicator is that a
perticular
boy is inattentive, or disruptive, or wild... *Can we expect the
convicting power
of the Holy Spirit to override the *passions of the flesh,in the boy, so
that a true
and honest lifechangeing confession of faith in Jesus by the act of a
raised hand,
be taken on face value as our spiritual *mission accomplished?

Does "salvation" require the understanding and agreement of the 'wild
child?
