I've seen a Typhoon and a big wind blow down trees trees that have
stood longer than whitemen have lived in my town, but I've never felt
the "eye of a storm"

I hear it's a place of calm, and the winds shift and mayby even the suns

comes out.. *wouldn't know as I left Californo in '74 and it's been one

dilly of a rain storm in Oregon since nest'n..<G>

*Socialy speak'n.. the "eye of the storm" is when you can maintain yur
peace when others are freeking out around you<G> I have experianced
that,
and this is what allows Cdr.Jen to survive what she saw at her feet a
week ago..

You can do some things "in the flesh" to be ready for a social storm...

First you can lighten up and not worry<G> *if that becomes a task,
then just breath before entering the storm and look fer the silver
lineing<G>

*You can commit to remain breathing, when others are blowing bad breath
yur
way<G> this mayrequire some practice as you intake from the side of yur
nose
or corner of yur tight lip...<G>

you can practice listening, just to hear wheels turn<G> You can
let others be right even when you disagree, and think they have a
wrinkle
in their ditty bag<G> You can even enjoy others as they bask in Glory!

The point is you can do that if you set yur mind to it<G>

Don't sweat the small stuff!
--------------------------

Try these tip's to find yur eye of the storm<G>

Practice patience periods- start with one minute (*See one minute
Commander)

Say to yurself- "Life isn't an Emergency"

See the innocence in people

Think of your problems as potential teachers

Get comfortable with not knowing stuff

Discover "white space" on yur calendar

Refuse to let things bug you

Thanks-
