And my two cents makes four (humor). It's just too much of a holiday for the Devil. When the early church (mostly Rom. Cath.) tried to convert pagans to Christianity - for some reason they would adopt their pagan practices and culture. Basically, they put a Christian face to those pagan practices, I feel uncomfortable about making the same mistake in attending an innocent costume party on the same night. We don't stay home on Oct 31st. We go to a kiddy movie (not much of a spiritual leap there - more ill attempts at humor) or the mall, just to get away from the trick or treaters. Most Importantly, keep an eye on your kids around this time. I understand this is the month that most children turn up missing.
