My understanding was that National came out with a minimum 14 years of age
for the GMA. Has this been changed?

*as of Jan 1 1998 Rangers must earn the GMA thru the new advancement
system (*Gold-Track)
*A ranger after earning the highest rank (Explorer) in Trailblazers
may earn the Gold Medal of achievement as early as 12 years old.
(There are no time limits in Pioneers-Trailblazers)
The Ranger may earn the GMA prior to the Trailranger/Challenger
program.
*All equirements are listed in te Pioneer and Trailblazer handbooks.
GMA general requirements:

1. 12 years old- reguardless of school grade.
2. All ranks of Trailblazers completed
3. Read the RR Leaders Manual
4. Complete all gold-track requirements as listed(See change in God
and
Church program where 2 addin'l merits may be substituted)
