Hello,
All of this time I have been concerned about getting to NTC because of court.
As it turns out I had my dates wrong. NTC in Maryland is 5/13-16/99 and not
that following week which I had originally believed. So as far as the need to
be there goes all is well for that. But the hard part for me is the
transportation. I have one good car that could make the trip, but the wife
won't part with it for me to go on it. She said rent a car. I had to let her
know that renting a car would cost more than the camp itself. The other hard
part is the financial part because I just don't have the money. I've been
praying about it, but my wife lost her job and the money is no longer there.
This was the year that I had set aside to attend all of the Ranger training,
and If I don't attend, I will have failed at my goals. Yes, I walk a hard
line to follow, but if I can't accomplish the goals I set out to do I don't
make a good leader and will henceforth withdraw from Rangers because they
deserve better. Please be praying for me.
