I am convinced that involvement in Rangers is partly based on a "calling"
from God. After my son moved up into Pioneers along with Duane, I had a
myriad of excuses to stand down, but every time I tried to resign, "things"
came up that prompted me to just 'finish out the year' -- that was 3 years
ago. Not by might, nor by will did I find myself on Sectional Staff or on a
National Standing Committee either, but by "a call" from those in authority
that needed the help and a confirmation from Jesus that this is what HE
wanted from me.

Last night as I looked into the eyes of the 14 Buckaroos who sat in a semi
circle listening to me explaining who St.Patrick was and the meaning of the
shamrock, I flashed back on my own son who had sat listening to this same
story years ago. When I asked if there were any questions, Andy's hand shot
up and he blurted out;
"SO TELL ME ARE THERE REALLY LEPRECHAUNS IN THE WOODS"!

"No" I replied. "OH DARN....AND NO POT OF GOLD"??? - And then That
opportunity we all call the teachable moment presented itself, and we talked
about the Real pot of gold we should all be looking for.

If not us? - Then who will tell the future generation the Truth. We are
called to spread the good news to the whole world until Jesus returns.
