BB Gun Campout. Report! Challengers and Trailblaziers cut down and hauled and cleaned off enough trees to build a 24 foot tower. They built the two sides on the ground and then barn raised them up and then lashed them all together. Commanders I was impressed. I have pictures that you won't believe. I also have the layout and design that my Sr. Guide put together and raised. The tower isn't complete yet but another day and vola.. Best shot pioneers and older conetest won a generic leatherman. We did one match fires, gun safety, duty roster... and it got down to 30 degrees it was a cool campout! 32 in attendance and we had a wonderful time. Council fire. "The Trap" Ken Paxton showed how to setup a trap to catch a wolf and he applied it to the devil and his tricks... and buried it in the ground and covered it with dirt and put in some weeds and feathers and ... well it was cool. and then he talked about how the wolf would figure out all the angles and then one more step and with a stick the trap came out of the ground and had him..... fantastic We ate like champs and had a bonfire 5 foot around to keep us all warm... a fantastic campout! 11 leaders and 21 boys. 3 straight arrows 4 buckaroos and above. The boys loved the stream! Mud hole city and I wonder how they got soakin wet.... "werent supposed to" GRIN! The younger boys spent a great deal of their time on the 100' pully ride. God is so good. We are a blessed outpost! Just wanted to "Report" ! Take them fellers campin!
