As an addition, Commander Mariott is an all around excellent person. He has been very supportive to me in the recent past when I had a period of needing to be out of Rangers. When I informed him of this fact, he actually appeared distressed. I'm back now and look forward to his leadership on the national level. I will miss him here in Sacramento. *Mark O'Connell* Outpost Councilman, Outpost 254 Florin International A/G, Sacramento, CA Don't drive faster than your angel can fly. You Grizzley's feel free to correct me where I'm wrong... I know he's been in Ranger since the late 70's. Starting as a commander then working up to be the Hunter Division Commander for years, then in the mid 80's he became the District FCF President for several years until he assumed the District Commander / Mens Ministries Director for the Northern California / Nevada (NCN) District. (He's been our District Commander for almost 11 years). While District Commander, he was charged to run the Ranger Store, fill the District Mens Ministries / Honor Bound Director Position and also serves as the Regional Royal Ranger Rep for the SouthWest Region. He's good people. He has a wonderful supportive family, some of which work at the NCN District Ranger Store. (He has since hired full time staff and management for the store). He has several Championship Titles in Motorcycle Racing (secular), not sure if they end at National Level, or go higher. He's a wonderful artist, right up there with Johnny Barnes and Fred Deaver... in fact, he and Fred put out a CD of their work as ClipArt that's available in the Ranger Store. He's also got a strong military background. He's a wonderful counselor, friend and confidant. He has a keen nack (and extensive background) in analysis, statistics and planning strategies. He was VERY instrumental in the new FCF Phase II procedures, as well as numerous other National Policies that have hit the street in the past several years. Hope this helps... Parson. _________________________________________ -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Saturday, April 03, 1999 10:20 AM To: Burns, Andy Subject: Re: [RR] New National Commander - Confirmed to be True Brother Andy Question for you sir can you tell more about Rich Mariott Like how long he has been in rangers, positons held in past, achivements, etc. O' did he say when he was going assume the duties?
