There are several places you can get period equipment and shelter as well as other things related to it. One of them is Crazy Crow Trading Post a mail order catalog out of Pottsboro Tx. P.O Box 847, 75076. Another smaller one I have bought from is James Townsend And Sons of Friendship Indiana. I got my lodge from Spring Valley Lodges in Brodhead Wisconsin. One of our Christian brothers I got off the Rangernet and bookmarked them is Eagle Feather I don't know much about them because I have period clothing I am sure they are honest and forthright. I dont want to step on the toes of any of our Christian brothers and sisters out there I'm sure there are many I don't know about that are in the market of shelter and clothing etc. If you check out public Rendezvous in your area they often have vendors and blanket traders(like me). Us blanket traders may have only limited selection but you may even be able to work out a trade with the smaller guys. One way to build your camp is to trade something that you do with somebody that has what you need. I really like the attitude of trading at FCF Traces it seems more like a giving attitude than a marketing attitude. That is the way it should be at public reenactments but I found that there is more selling than trading at these events and some peganism as well.
