This is about a week late, but here it is...
My feeling is that we are going to be asked to promote by grade
soon (maybe 10 years). I still advance boys by age, and find that my
leaders and the boy's parents support that. We do all prmotions in
September. I've tried to have boys move up by calendar year (ie. if
you turn 5 by Dec 31 then you move up now), but that has caused some
problems because we have a mixed Buckaroo/Straight Arrow class.
