Greetings Commanders,
I had found out from my boss that they might have to let me go at the job
because of my diabetes. Presently I need to take the needles to have my daily
insulin, and they feel that I would black out while driving. I explained the
symptoms and told him it would only be likely if I had no food, but then they
said that there is some law by the Dept. Of Transportation that would prevent
me from working. If this is so it will put me on disability, though I believe
that I am very capable of the job at hand, I see this as discriminatory and I
will not hesitate to call the EEOC about it. Please hold me in prayer as I
deal with this.
