*Science shows that except for a few chromosones.. Human's
closest relitive in the animal kingdom is the monkey..
Chimps can feel think and act in ways very familiar to humans..
*and many Royal Rangers! <G>
Early in this century a great trial was held to discuss the
links we have to these animals of the Jungle...
*Still the question each boy should answer.. is:
What makes a man?

Lets use the Ranger emblem.. the 4 Gold points of 4 ways a boy
grows... *You be the judge to each point "Man or Monkey"
1.Physical- Can a monkey act like a man? can a man act like a monkey?<G>
*Some monkeys are far stronger than man.. and of course Man don't have a
tail to swing thru the trees!:')
2.Mental- Monkeys can answer questions, think and reason.. they can be
taught.. *how smart does a person have to be to become a man? Lot's
of stupid people prove themselvs far dumber than many monkys!
3.Social- Monkies and People are social animals! We need and depend
on each other, build bonds of friendships and families... *again
however.. some people turn on friends and family, why I don't know..
but I doubt a Monkey would with the same frequency as People!
*Up to right here... it seems about even with the thought of
4 ways a boy grows to be a man... If we only consider the
Physical difference the Social difference and the Mental...
*Yes of course their are differences.. But the differences are not
THAT GREAT!
IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THE 4TH POINT! *SPIRITUAL!
*MAN is a spiritual being working in a physical world....
Like animals.... Man has a hunger, he must eat and drink..
find shelter and reproduce... But UNLIKE animals... Man was given
*Insight and a *spiritual life that will live beyond this life!
We can walk like a monkey, talk like a monkey and hang out with monkies<G>
*But we as MEN will face a judgement day... a *accounting... a *Great
Board of Review! ...and there will be no Monkies there!<G>
The old Church song went: *This world is not my home...I'm just passing
through!
*What seperates us from the monkey?
We have a choice to make... Heaven or Hell!
Don't slip on the Bannana peel<G>
*Quit "monkey'n around" and choose Jesus!
