Everybody,
I've heard so many people talking about Y2K, a lot of them Christians,
that are scared to death about it and it made me stop and think. We, as
Christians, have access to the one and only one that absolutely knows
exactly what the year 2000 is going to bring for each one of us.
We, of all people, should not be fearful of the year 2000.
II Tim. 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power,
and of love, and of a sound mind."
Phil. 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his
riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
Of course, it is our responsibility when we see a potental need, to get
on our knees before our Father and ask Him if there is anything WE need to
do to prepare ourselves. Joseph, back in the Bible, prepared by storing
food enough to last the years of famine, but Jesus also sent his disciples
out without food or money.
Not everybody will necessarily get the same answer, but we all will get
the right answer!
