Well written Dennis. I was offended as well and I am white. Our
brothers of color are just that- brothers. I live in the south-
Atlanta Georgia, and deal with this racism junk all the time. As
commanders I think we really need to examine our hearts and let God
show us where there is fault.
You can take this to the extremes, and I fall into this from time to
time as well. For example, do we refer to people as the "black guy"
or that "Chinese guy". I have before. But, God has shown me that I
don't refer to people my own color as "white guys". Why do we
differentiate? Does Jesus?
Don't flame me O.K.!

What has happened to Royal Rangers when we allow this
kind of thing to enter our minds. Everything seemed okay,
until #5, to insinuate that, means that you must think that
all of these folks don't know who their fathers are. As a
christian, and as a commander of boys, who might fall
into this #5, I am appalled. Is this something that you would
get up in front of your boys and read. I hope and pray not.
To whoever is responsible for allowing this to appear on the
Ranger net, if I have hurt your feelings I am truly sorry. This is all
I will mention about this, but I will lift you up in my prayers.
This has been done with love in my heart.
