I thank God for His Holy Spirit in my life. I've been dealing with this
adversity for over 5 years now. Each year my health gets worse. And some
days are better than others. When i am weak, He is strong. He has
carried me through many troubling days. I do not know where i be without
Him. He is my life source. He guides me each day. I do not know what it
would be like without God with in. I do not want to know.

For the past weeks, when I was feeling under the weather. I've been
using my aol account to surf the net. I surf the Royal Ranger, FCF, F&I,
and American Rev. War. During that time I e-mail the web masters of the
historical sites to see if i could link to their page or just mention
that i make clothing.

The results was very positive. I am now link, with the help of Jeff M.,
on several reenactment pages. But when I am as sick as I am now. I
begin to wonder what i did the past two weeks. I wonder if I am be able
to handle all the work. But deep down inside me God comforts me. He in
forms me that He is in control of my life. That He is the master tailor
who gives me ability to create. He is the one who brings in the work.
When I know this, I have a peace that only God can give.

Last week was a blessing beyond my wildest dreams. God had placed in my
heart many goals of this business back in 96. They all have been
answered. God placed on my heart that I can not go places or make
clothing only with His leading. Last week, Kathie , Peter, and I stayed
at the Northern New England District cmdr.'s house. Mark and his family
made us very at home. We stayed there a few days while we checked out a
college.

I even got to see Wooly Bear for a few hours. AWESOME!

Well anyway, Mark is going to promote my business within his FCF chapter.
He made me their chapter tailor.

I got home from that event. Went to a fabric store to buy homespun
material for shirts. The woman who waited on me asked what was I making.
She also ask if i wanted a job. She needs someone to make 5000 gift
bags before Oct.. She will get back to me within 2 weeks.

Next I checked my juno account. This account deals with my business and
rangernet.
I had a few e-mails asking how I am doing. I got an e-mail from a young
buck from my chapter. Frank wanted to know if I still want to teach him
how to be a tailor.

I got an e-mail from the Maryland Historical Society. Some woman wanted
to know if i was willing to make haversacks for them. I e-mail her to
ask for their address. I was going to give her a sample. She replied
back thanking me.

Yesterday, I got a phone call from my boss(Renee of Smiling Fox Forge).
She wanted to know if I was still alive. Because I have not called in 2
weeks. I mention to her that I wanted to cut down on the long distance
phone calls. I also mention that she and her husband need to get hooked
up to the net. That way we can e-mail each other.
Well anyway, she told me that i was going to get a big order by the end
of the week from them. I'll be making frocks, shirts, caps, and great
coats.

To end this, I say that God is blessing. That i must remember that when
I am sick from the change in the weather, molds, or whatever. That I
need to stop and go to sleep. But I must also realize that God is in
charge of my life. That I need not focus on the troubles around me.
Just focus on Jesus.
