<< Hello
My name is Earl Haima from the New York district. I am the Public Relations
Coordinator for the New York District Royal Rangers and on the outpost council
of my local outpost and have just recently signed on to the internet. One of
the first areas that I have checked on the internet is the Royal Ranger web
sites and I have found them to be very interesting. This is a great way to
receive information and to communicate.
God bless.

Hey Earl!
Welcome to Rangernet!
I was up in y'all's area a couple of years ago for the Regional ROY testing.
Stayed at a church in Poughkeepsie. Joe Benecasa was the Sr. Cdr. at the time.
Had a great time. Got to tour West Point.
I've been in Rangers for ten years, starting as a Pioneer Cdr. Sure miss it,
too.
Sometimes being Sr. can involve a little too much paper pushing for me. But,
I'm starting to get the hang of it.
Anyway, pull up a cyberlog and enjoy the fellowship around the fire.
You've probably gotten welcomes from a few of the folks.
Adrian Bonham, in Australia is usually pretty quick with the welcome mat.
Rick Baldwin , up your way, will say hello, I'm sure.
Duane Wheeler, out in the Pacific Northwest, is a big grizzled ol' Teddy Bear
with a heart of gold and a Ranger history that goes back to the beginnings.
Lot of wisdom there. And his wife Jennifer is probably one of the godliest
women I've ever met ('ceptin' MY wife o' course! ), but then, every Ranger's
wife is a godly woman. Got to be to tolerate our shenanigans.
There's Victor from down under who'll make you squirm sometimes, but he loves
kids true. I've seen him eyeball to eyeball and can testify that he made an
impression on MY boys at Camporama.
Sir Brian of Wiggin is our resident "dry English wit."
There's more, but just make yerself at home, 'cause that's where yer at.
In His Service for the boys,
Gary Rothwell
Sr. Cdr.
