Dear Fellow Royal Rangers,

My earliest memories of my father, Albert Bishop, were of him in uniform. He
was a Master Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He was rough, tough,
brave, and the greatest dad to my little boy eyes. And best of all he loved
Jesus with all his heart.
I was the last of three sons : My oldest brother became a California Highway
Patrolman, and my middle brother a Pastor. Dad has always taught us that the
strongest man is the man that serves God with all his heart.
After retiring with 21 years in the Marines, my dad went to Oregon to be the
boy's dean at boarding Christian High School, Canyonville Bible Academy. I
saw him love, encourage, and yes be firm and discipline boys into men of God.
Some of those boys are now leaders in all types of fields- from the military
to business to the ministry.
As I look at it, it is no wonder that I would be a Pastor and a Senior
Commander of a Royal Ranger Outpost. God is faithful!
My dad now lies in a Hospital bed in Lakeland Regional Hospital with a severe
problem in his kidney, the doctors really dont know what the cause is, but his
left kidney is blocked and he is in tremendous pain.
Would you hold up this man of God in prayer? Please ask for his healing.
Thank you gentlemen.

Respectfully Submitted,
Rev. John Bishop
Pastor/ Senior Commander
EMS/Police Chaplain
