Last year I was told our *churches youth group was away
at camp and managed to cause a near riot in the facility
they stayed...
*Staff reported a good time with the Lord<G>
Later at Powwow with the Royal Rangers these same kids
tried to pull some of that stuff on my Outpost, and basicly
thru my Gold-bar staff off as fools...
*After a fight broke out... I as "Commander" was told that
they were not Royal Rangers and I could not correct them..
...also I was stupid and a fool!
Let's say... the rules for your safety are you do not go
down to the river bank to throw rocks...
*In fact you are expectied to participate in patrol activities
with the group.
If you break that rule... *who's wrong?
"I'M NOT SOME NAG THAT CAN BE LED AROUND ON A ROPE!"

A horseman knows that your mount has to potential to race
with the wind... But because, the real race is over a distance with
obsticals, twists and turns.. You must pace your mount to cover the
distance, with reserve for an emergency..
You walk.. trot.. gallop a bit... trot.. walk... and *sometimes dismout
and LEAD THE HORSE
In the event of a steep cliff, and a skiterish horse.. you might even
cover it's eyes with a coat! and lead it blind!
*What happens to horses that cannot be led?
*What happens to horses that *buck the rider?
*What happens to a horse that bites, or rages?
They must be *Trained...
They must be *Broken...
They must yeild.. even tho BIGGER-STRONGER-FASTER than the rider!
*all of us have halters, and a stall to return too...
Sometimes we return on our own.. sometimes we are led...
..and sometimes our job is to bring the rider home!
We are all in this togather..
We have a great opportunity to scout the "trail" ahead for our Rangers!
...and our job don't end in just pointing the way...
Sometimes we have to lead!
