Yesterday and today, I listen to Focus on the Family. The name of the
program is "Tilly". It was a radio drama. It was about a couple who
aborted their child many years ago. The woman has carried the pain for
many years. She had a dream where she went to heaven to met her
daughter. There she got a release from her pain. She knew that God
forgave her.
I called my wife at work to tell her about the drama. She heard it a few
times. I mention to Kathie that the show realy touched my heart.
Esplishly when it came to the place where the child met her mom in
heaven.
This part brought tears to kathie and I. You see, between Beckie and
Tim. Kathie had a miscarrage. We knew she was carring a boy. God gave
us a name to name him. His name is Nathan.
I believe when Kathie and I get to heaven. Nathan is going to run up to
us. He is going to say "Mommy and daddy hold me. Take my hand, I want
to show you all the neat things in heaven. I want to show you Jesus."
This show reminded me that we have a son in heaven. It also remind me
that our youngest son, Peter, has Nathan for a middle name. God gave us
his name. So Peter could have his own name. But to remind us that Peter
is a reminder of another son.
Heaven is a wonderful place. I long to be there with Jesus. And some day
we will met there in heaven.
