I have tracked Royal Rangers along side two people recently..
*My son... and *My wife...
At one time Royal Rangers was *mine... but today I feel the program is
theirs... *They see it true, as it is, for what it is...
I began as a Buckaroo fill-in when the Buckaroo Leader left our church
and reluctently began a long walk back to the "fire"...
*along the way<G> I looked ahead...and the boys accross the hallway seemed
so BIG! *I was full-tilt "into" Buckaroos and Strait-Arrows and we seemed
well attended and full of parent support... *Every-one was "part" of the
GAME! *the jokes flowed... the lightness and the serious devotions under
the candle light!
The day came when we took our Buckaroo Outpost camping for the first
time<G> and won best camp!
*But the "cross-over" to Pioneers came hard!

Our church had "lost the *vision" packed up the Kahki Uni's and forgot
to look back when they turned off the lights! Times change and the
decision was made to sweep the Ranger code under the rug<G>
As a Commander I can sit here and type to others who know...understand and
*feel what being a Commander means! *I could not do that *Then...
For who is one against so much discouragemnent! Heheee!
(Insert the story of David and Goliath!)
PRAISE GOD FOR *RANGERNET!

*What's the task? *THINK BIG! REAL BIG! BIGGER THAN WHAT YOU CAN SEE!

*And the biggest population is in Straight Arrows and Buckaroos...
However they have the least percentage of *RR Training!
RR Resources have been tipped to the TrailBlazer/Trailranger...
where the great majority of NTC TRAINEDMen work as *Commanders
over a shrinking percentage number of Royal Rangers!
Q! What will turn around the trend?
Who will lead?
