<< Just because the writer didn't know the power of prayer doesn't mean that
we shouldn't pray for his country. There are Christians on both Serb and
Albanian sides, as well as in Macedonia and Albania. I just got a prayer
request from a missionary I know who visited Kosovo in September 1998. He
included some pictures of some of our brothers and sisters in Christ who
lived there. He has lost contact with all of them. Please pray for their
protection and provision of all of their needs, and that the Gospel would
bring hope in the midst of the hatred and warfare.

It wasn't just all this person from Serbia who was circulating the virus,
before my computer melted down (Again for the umpteenth time) I had received
several messages from folks who had it attached. Likely they didn't know it
was there, so I just sent it back to them letting them know about it.
I have been watching the war in Kosovo with great interest. Both World
wars got started in the Balkans WW1 with Francis Ferdinand getting shot, and
then with Hitler and his cronies it is some pretty bad stuff and a powder
keg. It probably will always be a powder keg over there. My brother was
told as he decided to enlist in the US Army that upon completing basic
training to get ready to go over there. My sister is Navy and I'm in the
Civil Air Patrol, so I won't be going anywhere, but my brother and sister
might.
I'm praying that this war will stop. I don't agree with Nato or Clinton on
this matter, I think they have had enough. Let's not get Russia involved. It
won't be pleasant.
This war affect the Royal Rangers over there, it affects the ones here. Let's
Pray!
"God's got an Army marching through the land, Warriors of Righteousness with
healing in their hands. Soldiers of the Cross, children of the Light. We're
not afraid to stand and fight!" --(CCM artist Carman) We fight on our
Knees! The weapons of our warfare are in Jesus' Name! We Pray!

Blessings,

Cmdr. Mike Burke
