Several have asked and sent me some email about the Ranger Database I
have on my website.
I will continue to update this Royal Ranger Database with all the neat
stuff we use each year. In the past few weeks I have added extensively
to it. The cost is the same.
1. Pray about Chartering your outpost, and take action.
2. Tithe to your District Royal Rangers from your weekly Outpost Royal
Ranger Dues. Send them a
Check a couple times a year.
3. Send a gift offering to the Assemblies of God Christian School in
Springfield MO.
That's it. Guys and Gals. God has been very good to me and I want to be
a blessing to others.
I just added lookups for Outpost Type, Patrol Names, Patrol Yells, All
Advancements we give out including Leaders. Even FCF can use this
Database. Just change the lookups to fit what data you want entered. I
had to type in all our merits, badges, advancements, medals, God and ...
there is a bunch!
I tell you all what... this Database Program is slick and I can get it to
do just about anything as far as desktop publishing and data.
It will run on a win95/98 and NT and Win3.1 if you have 8 meg or more of
memory...(most Windows 3.1 machines don't)
If anyone has a need holler via email I can add it.
What is nice about this program is you don't need anything to use it. It
is a full blown self contained program. It is free for you to check it
out. One thing to remember it was written by a Royal Ranger Sr.
Commander for fellow Royal Rangers to use. So if it isn't user
friendly..then I will fix it...cause I have to use it...GRIN!
Go ahead and put your own Outpost Data in the Version you download from
the website below. Then when you want to upgrade to the latest version
Backup your data in that directory and then you simply Select all records
and export them in each of the Databases and then do the upgrade and re
import your data. It is a simple job once you have done it.
When I update I don't delete fields. So the data you have will always
have the right field to go into when you import after upgrading.
