All,
I think all schools in America should show the Carmen video:"God in
America".
It's time we the people stand up and say enough. This High School is said
to have
a stundent body of 2,000. It makes me wonder how many in that shcool are
Royal Rangers.Taking it one more step, it makes me wonder how many times
God told a Royal Ranger to" tell him/her about me." and they didn't.
I tell you, if God says tell someone about Me, don't think of excuses.
You don't know if that person will be alive a day, a hour, a minute or
second.
You know it would be really bad if a Royal Ranger knew one of the ones that
got
killed and made no effort to tell them about Christ.
I'm not saying that to start flames, but how many times have we said
"Later Lord,
I've got things to do."
Takeing this home, would we be READY if this happened in our own city?
Spiritually I think we would be, however know one really does not know
untill it happens to them. I spoke on this last night and one Pioneer said
they would tell the boy to "put the gun down." It would take great faith
to do something like that.
How can we ready ourself?
In a few words "Put on the whole armor of God."
Young men, if God says tell them about Me "Just do it". Even if it's the
bully of
the school. We all have our part in spreading the gosple, but you all have
a battleground before you ever day.
What if one of the ones that got killed knew a Royal Ranger and he did not
tell
them about Chirst? What do you think the boy would be thinking?
I think he would saying " Why didn't I listen? Why was I so afraid? Why
couldn't
I've at least wrote a note that said :"God loves you".
This is some stuff we need to think about.
Commander, I ask you how many times do you lay out the plan of salaviton
for your boys? Often time I find, just when a commander is about ready to
give up a boy
becomes a Christian.
As Royal Rangers what can do?
We can pray, we can send letters and cards and we plan mission trips to
that
area. There are many other things we can do but do as the Lord guides.
