After my daughter's school was threatened yesterday I started praying Lord I
am lost I don't know how to pray for this. I mean I know to pray for the
families, the injured, dead and dying and the community. But what exactly do
I need to pray for. Lord you told me to be specific when I pray. Lord,
should I pray for Gun Control? then the Lord said to me "No Kelly, pray for
GOD CONTROL." that was all he said.
Today on the news they are talking about how it is illegal to pray at
sporting events and I say inlight of what happened in Littleton, HOW DARE
THEY? Don't they realize that prayer is exactlly what we need inour schools?
Today I was reading about each of the students and the teacher that died. I
started crying again. Three were saved that I knew of (praise God) Ididn't
know about the teacher and one boy. The teacher died going back in to help
more students get out, and this particular boy was killed holding a door open
for escaping students. I started praying Lord surely you have them surely
you have them. He answered saying Kelly I do have them, they are with me and
they are mine.
I praise our Father for showing us how to love and raise our children to
value life not just their own but everyone's. I praise God every time I see
my children's faces. They are whole they are healthy and they belong to God.
