The national office has a notebook "Junior Training Camps Staff
Information" that contains guidelines for PLTC, JLTC, JCE, AJTC, and JTT.
It can be acquired through the national office (1-417-862-2781), not GPH.
This notebook was released about two years ago.

Again, available through the national office.

PLTC is a great camp for the younger boys. We have had one in the North
Texas District for four years. Since it's part of our summer training
academy and I'm involved with the AJTC at the same time, my exposure to the
camp has been somewhat limited. The key to success, however, is to make the
camp enjoyable yet worthwhile to the boys. We have a camp commander who
acts like a mother hen, and a senior guide who is a true senior guide,
helping the boys and showing them how they should act. Each patrol has two
adult advisors that stay in the campsite, and all of the patrols camp close
together.
