Dear all. Greetings in Jesus' name. The last three days I have been on our annual Jumbunna ( Pow Wow ). There were 250 campers on site and we had a great time in God. We had our ' usual ' rain but it soon cleared away and after that the weather was fine and warm. As I mentioned previously we decided to put a Chaplain into each settlement as well as an overall Chaplain. The format was that these Chaplains would be in the settlement to be a constant presence for them. I was with Pioneer Boys and all in all I was fed quite well. The Chaplains conducted morning devotions and at night were involved in the rallies. The first night (Saturday) the Pioneers had their own rallies as did the Trail Blazers and Trail Rangers. Sunday morning the same arrangement with each settlement conducting their own communion service. Sunday night was a combined rally. The theme of the camp was 'Boldly Go' and many lives were touched and many have taken up the challenge, Praise God!. At each of the rallies the power of God was evident and many were slain in the Spirit. There were also 20 first time decisions for which we Praise His Name. For some years there has been no competition and this year competition was reintroduced and it was great. One Royal Ranger described the Jumbunna as great for there was no pressure to perform and the events were timed so as to give plenty of time to cover everything. My Outpost ( Garden City ) won star patrol for Pioneer Boys. All in all it was a great weekend and many live have been indelibly touched for God.
