We have always used this version of the Christian Flag Pledge:
"I pledge allegiance to the Christian flag, and to the Savior for whose
Kingdom it stands, one brotherhood, uniting all true Christians in service
and in love."
But while looking for more info on the Christian Flag I found a web page with
this version:
"I pledge allegiance To the Christian Flag, And to the Saviour,
For whose Kingdom it stands. One Saviour, crucified,
risen and coming again, With life and liberty for all who believe."
I send this site an email asking about the difference and he wrote back and
said that the second version was the original. Anyone else heard this. I
like the second version better myself, but want to use the right one. Any
opinions?
