I've learned some things about money from the Bible.
I've learned some things about money from my pastor.
I've learned some things about money from TV preachers.

Money is not evil. The love of money is evil. It takes money to preach the
Gospel. It is not wrong to share needs or even ask for money. A preacher
with faith in God to supply his needs will generally not devote a very high
percentage of time asking for money, but just because someone asks doesn't
imply covetousness or moral decay.

Where your money is, your heart will follow. Therefore, if you want your
heart to be close to church, send some money ahead of you. If you want your
heart close to God, invest some money in God's work. Be careful not to
spend money anywhere or on anything you don't want your heart to follow after.

Money can truly be used as an expression of love for your pastor and others.

People tend to judge and persecute people who have more money than
themselves. In spite of this, God blesses people with more money than they
need for themselves and their families when they let Him, because that way
they have enough to help finance the Great Commission.
