Last night was Youth night in the main sanctuary. The college my son goes to has a drama team. Our church was their last stop. As Royal Rangers was going on down stairs, i got to see first hands what goes on during a Youth meeting. Before I mention my reaction. I'll say this about my son. I saw a young man with a passion for Christ to reach the youth. I am very proud of him. I prasie God that God got a hold of him and is transforming him. Now back to the Youth meeting. There was worship music. The Youth pastor and his intern real challanged these kids. They have a challangen going on. It is all set up with a point system. so many points if you come, bring a friend, and the list goes on. You see guys, you got to make Rangers fun. You must be prepared to give of yourselves. You must challange the kids. You need a system which awards the kids for doing their awards, wearing their uniforms, and etc. Most important, I believe you need to have a vision. Also to set down with the Youth Pastor and Senior Pastor to explain to them what Royal Rangers is all about.
