It isnt a magic trick, but its a
classic.
.....
Buy a bunch of the tiny trial, or travel tubes
of toothpaste.
also need small paper plates, like for cake,and
plenty of paper towels.
....
Give the kids each a tube of toothpaste, a
plate, and have the paper towels handy.
....
Tell the kids to sqeeze as much of the
toothpaste out of the tube and onto the
paper plate as possible.
....
Now tell them , with your finger make a design in the
toothpaste,
give them a minute, then hold out a twenty dollar bill,
and
tell the kids the first one to get all the toothpaste back in
the
tube will get the money, and they only have 1 minute to do
it
.....
After a minute, tell them to stop. Now the
devotion! You see how
hard it was to get the toothpaste back in the tube. Thats how
hard it
is to take back our words when we say something that would
hurt
someone. We can say we are sorry but we cant take back the
hurt.
