The following brochures are available for FREE from your local RED CROSS
Chapter (at least in the USA) - It is certainly worth getting one for your
Rangers.

The brochure is entitled: YOUR FAMILY DISASTER SUPPLIES KIT
(I believe this is also available on the Internet under RED CROSS or FEMA).

The brochure has a checklist of the 6 basics everyone should have stored for
an emergency.

WATER - tells how to sterilize and store it properly
FOOD - what foods to have for a 3-day supply
FIRST AID KIT- what a kit should have in it.
CLOTHING - what clothes and bedding you should have
TOOLS - what tools are necessary to have in an emergency
EMERGENCY SUPPLIES - what specialty items infants, elderly or disabled
persons should have,
as well as important family documents you should have.

The RED CROSS was more than happy to give me as many brochures as I needed
plus additional information about FIRST AID CLASSES for adults and children.

check it out!
