Y'all,
Has anyone heard of a book called a
shepered look at Psalm 23? It is written by Phillip
Keller. If you havent I advise you to pick it up and
read it. I haven't finished it yet but it is a great
book. There is lots of great pages but the ones I am
going to point out is that. What the guy does is that
he used to be a sheepman. So he gave an example and
then he gave an example as our walk with the Lord. One
of them and this is true. There are two Sheperds.
There is Jesus the Sheperd and Devil as the World
Sheperd. The sheep on Jesus side have it easy, they
have green grass. They are well taken, when there is
danger. The sheperd is right there to take care of
them. The ugly devil sheeps are torn, they are sick,
mistreated. He don't care for them. I ain't saying we
as Christians won't get sick. However if we do we
serve a God, that is bigger then anything. We all use
to be a torn up sheep. I am so glad my wool or
whatever it is called. Or all fixed, that my Shepered
cares for me. One more point is that. Sometimes sheep
good ones that are called back sliders, Carnal think
the other side is more greener, a lie from the devil.
It is a great book
John
