All,
Next time I see my Sr. Commander, I'm going to ask him:"where
do you see our outpost a year from now?"
It's been said if you're not a part of the solution, you're part of the
problem. With that in mind I have some thoughts on the subject.
We as leaders need to present Royal Rangers as a outlet for boys. This
outlet should be one that boys are begging mom and dad to bring them to. We
must present a program that the boys feel exicted about as well as a
feeling of getting things done. To do this we must get out of the rut of
doing the same thing ever Wednesday. This is one reason we lose boys. Boys
come, we do the same thing,
they get boared and quit. We also must give credit when credit is do.
Don't wait three months for a COA. We should always be bring new boys into
Rangers.
To reach new boys we can use person to person , the raido, the tv and the
newspaper. If a boy wants to come to rangers but can not get there. We
should make ever effort possible to see he gets a ride. This includes
picking the up the boy or boys ourself in that be case.
