Production of the commercial is only one part of the cost. Another major
portion is the actual airtime. This would be the prohibitive item for
Rangers. We have had some very high quality productions coming out of the
Northern California/Nevada District Office (fantastic production staff of
commanders inspired by our new National Commander, Richard Mariott). While
they are always up to a new task, I would be disappointed to see them fail
an effort because they do not have the hundreds of thousands of dollars
necessary for just a few showings on a local TV channel.

Since money seems to the major problem, let me ask you this.
Why couldn't someone take a camcorder and make a commercial
themselfs?
Sure it might not be state of the art but it be better then none.
