I think you missed the point of my post.

Believe it or not Rangers is a "Service" organization. Whether it is the
Commanders serving the boys, or the boys serving others. Rangers are
"READY - Ready to Work, Play, Serve, Obey, Worship, Live, etc." If we
want to have our outposts known through out the community, we need to be
willing to work for it.

I believe a Ranger commercial would have a limited impact on the
community. Our actions speak much louder than our words. If I had a
Ranger Commercial showing how wonderful Rangers are and how Rangers
change our youth, there can still be area for doubt. For example, you
and I see a Mormon commercial and know that there is an underlying motive
to their commercial. We both know that if we call their 800 number, we
will have one of their "missionaries" on our doorstep with in minutes
<g>.

If our Rangers were seen on the evening news during a Community Public
Service event, having fun, working hard and having a good time, I think
that would have a greater impact than the Commercial. If our Rangers
were actually out there praticing what we prach, we would have a greater
impact.

If people saw first hand, our Royal Rangers out on the streets serving
rather than being served. People would want to know more about Rangers.
Knowing more about Rangers would open the door for knowing Christ, which
would in turn fulfil the same effect as having the commercial.
