Brothers and Sisters of Ranger Net! I am breakinig loose from the Sr.
Commanders Position at Oak Grove, Outpost 153 in Springfield, MO. Yes
after 5 years as Sr. Commander I needed a break. These past 5 years have
been been the most rewarding years of service in my life. I will miss
the leadership position and the one on one involvement with the Rangers
in this outpost. I gave notice almost 2 months ago to the Outpost
Council.
At this time the outpost needs a Sr. Commander. So if you are in the
Springfield Area and God has challenged your heart then take action and
fill the need.
I have accepted a position as a Area Commander in So Missouri,
Springfield Section and hope to do my best in that position as well.
I thought God has a Church move in this rearrangement as well but not
sure yet. I have several AG Churches closer to home that I am
considering moving to.
Outpost 153 is in excellent shape with over 20 commanders, 100 enrolled
and average 50 on a Wednight Meeting all in full class B Uniform and
using the Patrol System as well as 5 active men as Outpost Council. A
fully equiped camping outpost with Ranger Bus and cannon as well as 4
GMA's ready.. this year to graduate.
My office is full of Ranger Memoriabila from standards to patches to past
pow wow costumes to RR Certificates and wall placks. Wednesday night I
recieved my highest honor a 16 year old and a 14 year old came up to me
and just before it was time to leave and from their heart thanked me for
being a good example in shaping their life. Don't know what God has in
mind for me right now but I will just have to trust him on this one.
Commanders keep up the good fight and take them boys camping and continue
to be a testimony of what Jesus would want you to be. I can't wait till
that day when Jesus says well done good and faithfull servant..that will
be the honor of all honors. You all will be right there with me. God

P.S. I am taking a short vaction. Then look out...Yaah! I know that's
right!
