I would like to issue a praise report for POW-WOW here in
Mississippi. We were at a brand new facility this year with many
projects still not completed, but in spite of that fact our attendance
was up 11%. More importantly, we had over fifty boys give their heart
to Jesus and that one fact made this a very successful Pow-Wow. I would
like to thank Jim Seagroves, Gulf Region Coordinator, for giving of his
time to come and be our special speaker. A special thanks to Wesley
Harmon our District Commander, the District Staff and all the others who
gave of their time, equipment, and finances to get the facility in shape
for our annual Pow-Wow. Also, a special thanks to all the commanders
who gave of their time and finances to bring the boys to this special
event. We should always remember that the boys are the reason we
sacrifice what we do, to be able to make a difference in their lives.
