Dear Royal Ranger Commanders;
The first time I saw J.J. Yarborough he was just a chubby kid.
The last time I saw him, he was a fine looking clean cut young man.
We shared many campfires, many campouts, and many good times.
He almost adopted me. We were friends, and he knew he could
drop by anytime. He thought my couch belonged to him. We shared
a few troubles, but many joyous times. He was in FCF, (Feathered
Buffalo), he got his GMA, the second boy in our church to do so.
About a year ago he graduated high scholl, and then on to the Navy.
He completed basic training and sub school. He was stioned in
Kingland Georgia, near the Florida border, for more training.
His Navy buddies would come with him to Florida to visit his
parents. He would bring them along to church on Sundays.
A few weeks ago a few of them went forward to answer an alter
call. Last Sunday J.J. and his Navy buddy David were killed in
a car wreck on I-95 just north of St. Augustine, on the way back to
base.
Please pray for his family. They are all saved, but overcome by grief.
Please pray for David's family, I don't think they are saved, and I
think he was an only child.
