To my fellow brethren of the faith, To those of you that have been reading these postings. And also have been prayinf for me and my family. This posting is about what happen at the NYS worker's compensation board hear in Syracuse. What I saw, feeled, and experienced through out Friday afternoon, June 25. Friday morning, I got up and helped my wife out to work. Did some praying and a devotional. And then got ready to go out the door. Called the lawyers office. Was advise to get at the comp. board way before 10am. I got there around 9:30am., it was very crowded with injuried workers and lawyers. There were 6 cases going on in 6 different room. Names of parties were called after each case was done. I finially got to talk to my lawyer for a few minutes. I wanted to know what was going to happen in my case. I wanted to know whay she did not call me back for the past month. she told me she has been very busy. She said that she was going to appeal against the decission of the otherside. The other side appeal to the decission of the judge. Which means this case will be sent to Albany(capital of NY). It will be review at some point in time from anywhere from 3 months to one year. I also mention about my business and that it was making something. She told did I report this to the insurance company. I looked at her and wonder if she ever listen to her clients. I told her about this business a few years ago many of a times. She told me back then that it was find. That it will look good that i was doing something to speed the case along. But she also told me that if i did not tell them. I could be charge with frawed. That the case will be thrown out of court. I would loss this case. Boy was I upset with her. I said to her that i'll get copies of my 98 tax for her. So she could give it to the lawyers for the insurance company. 98 was the year I claim this business. After that I waited for 2 hours for a 5 minute hearing. During that time, I looked at the people around the room. I saw hurting injuried workers. I prayed for them I even shared Christ to a few of them. I saw lawyer that represent the injuried worker and lawyers that represented the company and its insurance. What I saw in these lawyers? I saw people that distance themselves from these injuried people. No compassion. Laughing going on in the lawyer's room that is sepperated from the main room. My case finial came and went. The last person I talked to was Dr. Lax. He is a doctor for the clynic I go to. This man carries for the injuried worker. He is the most hated man in New York State. This doctor has gone to bat for many of a injured worker. The companies, their insurance, and lawyers hated him for this. I was reminded to pray for him. After this I had several errand to do for my business. My turned around when this happen. The woman at the county clerk and the man at the state tax office were very friendly and helpful. Now my business is register. I say this to you all. My faith in God does not change because the company I use to work for does not care. My faith in God is going stronger. I would not change the circumstands that I am in for all the money in the world. I would not change the way in How God moves in my life. For a life with no pain and suffering. Mens hearts are growing more wick as we grow closer to the coming of the Lord. But us staints must grow closer to God. And to be as compassionite to people as Christ is to us. We are broken bread and poured out wine.
