Starfish

There was a boy walking along a beach one day where the tide had washed a
whole bunch of star fish on the shore. As he walked along the beach, he
would pick up one of the star fish and throw it back in to the ocean. He
would continue doing this all along the beach.

A man came up to him and asked him, "What are you doing? You can't
possibly throw all of these star fish back in the water. You're not
going to make any difference doing this."

The boy picked up another star fish and replied saying, "To this one, it
makes a difference."

I wonder how many times we look around and think that we can't possibly
make a difference in the world because we can't see everyone get saved. I
think about this story sometimes when I start to get lazy and it reminds
me that I have a job to do. I have to be a light to the world around me.
When I put things into context, and think about that one lost soul who
needs to be ministered to, it reminds me that I have be out there
ministering to that one soul that God is leading me to share with.
