Thank you all for your prayers. Mike is still in a coma on life support but
we can see signs of his coming out of it and we can also see the hands of
the Lord using this, as well. On the 8th, Mike's doctor told Jane, his
wife, that there was absolutely no hope, that there was no brain activity.
The next day, Mike opened his eyes briefly, shrugged his shoulder & coughed
several times. When Jane asked the Dr. what that meant, he replied that
everything he had stated the day before was "off", "it was a new ballgame".
Mike had double pneumonia last week & was running a fever; as of this
morning, the fever was gone & temperature was normal.

The prognosis is still grim. Even though he has been off of the respirator
for periods of time each day, he is still in a coma. We are praying LIFE
into his brain & body and are praying for a miracle. Mike's dad (lives in
Florida) isn't saved; neither are any of his other family. Pray for their
salvation. Those of you who have emailed me prayers, thanks. They have all
been given to Jane & shared with the church family and have been a
tremendous encouragement. Many of you have also shared that your churches
are having special prayer meetings for Mike. Thanks for letting us know.
That too has been a real encouragement and often the notes have come when
they were needed most. We are praying for God's hand to move in a soverign,
miraculous way. I'll keep you posted & believe that one day, Mike will
thank you himself.

God bless you all.
