John, I *did* read carefully -- and was trying to warn you re: P&G's
penchant for suing those who pass this type of material on. (Of course, it
was also possible my "security officer" hat from USDA popped on for a few
minutes, and I overreacted. You tend to get that way when you have one of
these messages taking up all your data "pipes" because someone decided to
distribute it to >10,000 people...<sigh>)
My main point for replying was: (a) to warn that it wasn't true, (b) to warn
that P&G tend to sue people they catch passing this type of stuff around,
and (c) to give a few good references for material such as this (ie, AFU's
Website).
Many of the "please pass this on" type of messages are urban legends, net
myths, or false virus warnings. The easiest way to tell is to check AFU's
Website and/or CIAC/CERT's false virus webpage.
> Hey there if you read my e-mail right, I did not send this to warn anyone.
I sent it as a question is it true or not.
> So if I confused anyone I am sorry, for those who mistook it, please read
everything careful:)
