The LTC states the "Play is the boys work"......
Don't fault the 12 year old for desireing to play, and wanting...
(in a way) the GMA. I read here that you desire a total program
and a boy earning the GMA will turn your program around..
This may or may not be true...or be the best thing...
I'd advise you to re-think this... *Waiting till later, when in God's
time the proper attitude and motivation might make for a more meaningfull
award. "Rushing" a boy, to beat a date, seems wrong.
My opinion only- worth little on the trade blanket<G>
The big picture is that we want to BLESS the boys, and like your pastor,
point the way, encourage, explain, challenge ect. but also let the boy
go.... and bless him for the future!
