*Cool!
->A No.1<- wore a VN era POW/MIA bracelet.. while aboard the USS Mars.
Mine was a USN Cdr. Glen Dagle, and I never got the final
report on his release... thats the way with things, before this miricle
of web surfing<G>
I've seen several sights with reguard to "The WALL" and posted to some
about *Mitch Silvers- RRanger's USMC casualty. This summer-
I had a serious conversation with FCF President Fred Deaver, and got his
"green-light" to go ahead with building a consencus of Rangers that would
honor in some manner his memory.. *and others if found!
*I'd like to "birth" an Idea to you as a active duty member of the armed
forces, and active Royal Ranger..
Is there intrest in a Ranger Vet "organization" ?
The thought on my mind is to generate funding for a memorial to *Mitch and
anyother Ranger who has fallen in battle, or given the supream sacrifice
to their country. God forbid we would find very many... but also God
forgive us if we choose to forget them!
Cdr. Fred indicated he was willing to do a Oil painting, or some other
artwork fitting a memorial.. and I had thought we could commission this by
the sale of patches and other gear to the un-offical Ranger Vet
association.
*Now.. remember! there's a cart- and a horse- and we don't want to
mix up what goes where in this *project.
BTW! Just what websight was it?
