Just a note to let you know that a NULC WILL be held September 23-26, 1999
in Texas.
A National Urban Leadership Conference is designed to help prepare leaders
for ministry to the unchurched kids in their local areas. The South Central
Region is sponsoring a NULC September 23-26, 1999. It will be held at
Lakeview Camp in Maypearl, Texas which is just south of the Dallas/Ft.
Worth area. The NULC will consist of a combination of workshops and
hands-on ministry in Dallas.
The NULC is designed for Royal Rangers commanders, Missionettes leaders,
youth leaders, and others in the local church who are interested in this
type of ministry. Separate facilities are provided at the camp for both men
and women. On Saturday we will be participating in several urban outreaches
in the Dallas area, including an Urban Rangers and an Urban Missionettes
program.
The cost of the conference, including meals, lodging, and all training
materials, is $125. Discounts are available for pastors and for groups of 4
or more from the same church who register at the same time.
