I want to thank all you for your prayers and support through this
adversity. I want thank "In Touch Ministries" for their monthly
devotional. God has used those to help refine me. I want to that World
Vision for their monthly newsletter and sermon. They are life saver.
Brethren for the past 2 weeks I have been praying and chewing about what
God's has been giving. As I looked at the first 22 years of my Christian
life. I saw a stiff neck, rebellions and hard heart Christian. I
wanted to do the Christian walk my way.
I did not want to totally surrender to God. In doing so, I had more
head knowledge of God's word than in my heart.
Last week, I got on my knees as always and totally surrender. I saw
God's mercy, grace, and love. And releazed that I need also to be that
to others. I thank God that He is merciful to me. That with out Him,I
am nothing.
Faith is trusting in God when you do not see or feel Him. The key to
backsliding is walking in your strength without God.
God has won NYS Worker's Compensation. Many of the disability people in
the support group told me that i should keep appealing for SSDI. Last
week, I made a commitment to God. SSDI is not the way to go. For me is
to lie and shut down Eagle Feather's 18th Century Clothing Shoppe.
After that prayer brethren things happen. The DPW was tarring the
streets. I did not get sick.
I called a large gun shop in central NY. The assistant manager want to
see my work. If he likes it, he wants to use it to bring in re enactors
into his business.
I got a long distance phone call from the Mount Vernon historical
society. The woman who call me is a Christian. She and others are
interested in hiring me along with others to sew costumes for the 200
anniversary
I got another phone call which is about my daughter. The Parade Magazine
interested in hiring Beckie as a councilor for the up coming Young
Columbus tour in Ireland.
God placed on my heart to expand my business. Lord willing, he will be
hiring craftsman to help me. So far, a Christian woman wants to work for
me. She told me that God place me on her heart for a job.
Lastly, I got a phone call from one of the local state senators. This
man has been calling the asst. commissioner of worker's compensation to
speed up my case in the appeals court. As of today everything is done.
The draft will be signed off next week by the commissioner.
PRAISE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
It much better to surrender your life and letting God run your life.
Than walk in your on strength.
