Dear All,

With today being 15 Years total active duty service to the United States Navy
I look back at some of the things I have seen over that time. How many people
remember some of these things?

1984 I went into the Navy and National FCF Rez in Hungry Horse, Mt
1985 Deployed with the USS Saratoga CV-60 part of CVW-14 the Capture of
terrorist of the Achille Lauro.
1986 Still on deployment with the USS Saratoga during the bombing of Libya.
(The line of Death)
1987 Deployment #2 With the USS Saratoga Capture of Terrorist off of Egypt.
The thing about this was we flew this guy in a Military Aircraft from
the middle of the Mediterranean Sea back to the US without stopping to
refuel. All fueling was done inflight.
1988 While deployed With the USS Enterprise CVN-65 part of CVW-11 Bombed
Iranian Oil Platforms. Also returned in time for the National Rez in
Eagle Rock. What a trip. Left the Ship while in the Philippines Island
and flew back to Washington State. Got into my ranger pick up truck and
drove to Eagle Rock. Great Fellowship and a great time.
1988-1993 Married for the first time and the birth of my children
1993 Returned to Seaduty.
1994 Deployed with USS Carl Vinson CVN-70
1997 Deployed with USS Carl Vinson CVN-70, In the Persian Gulf the B52 launch
of Tomahawk Missels aginest Iraq. My First Flight in an EA-6B
Aircraft.
1998 Deployed with USS Indepence CV-62

Some of these things mean nothing to alot of people but for myself I
look back at al lthe times I was out to sea and God was with me. I can
remember the times when I was on board the Carrier and it was the middle of the
night during the flight operations and recieting the Ranger Motto, Ranger Code,
Ranger Pledge, and the Points of the Ranger Code so I would not forget that
these are the things I stood for. These are the reasons why while in port I
would not go around and mess with the ladies. I had to remain true to 2 people
A) God B) my Family. Without this I could fall prey to satian. He has tried
and at times was lucky. He leaped for joy when I got devorcied. But I tell you
what he has been really tring to distroy this marriage that I am in now but we
are claiming the victory in Christ. I and My wife would liek to thank everyone
who last year prayed for our son who was having alot of problems in life. But I
am here to give a report that since that time the Boy has asked Jesus into his
heart. He has learned that you can got to the church and be prayed for when we
are ill. He is growing the Lord. I know that there is more for him and God
has a plan for him. I have another 5 years to go for retirement. I look
forward to trying to stay in long enough to get the kids out of the house on
their own. I will be sticking in till they force me out. Then it is God will
that he has something else for me to do. Well I have to go for now. God Bless
Everyone
