Tonight we canceled our evening services and functions at the church. I
was one of the last ones to find out about it. But this big old hurricane is
about to bear down on us over here in the Potomac District. ANTC is being
hosted by our District starting tomorrow and they will be under a tropical
storm warning for most of tomorrow. I want to ask that you pray for all of
those brothers up there at Broad Creek. Tomorrow, all the local schools are
canceled in the name of safety. I have to drive my truck right through the
brunt of this storm during the times it is supposed to be at it's worst.
Please pray for me for safety. It is a likelihood that we will loose power
for some time and that since I'm also involved with the Civil Air Patrol, I
will get deployed through our coordination with FEMA and the Red Cross to
serve over the weekend and the clean up. 3.5 million people have been
evacuated. This storm is as big as Texas and is a category 3 storm. Winds
are going to be blowing in excess of 75 miles per hour. and as we wait, I
only sit here and ask that you pray. For everyone involved with this storm.

Blessings WILL Abound!
