I thank the Lord for we know He was in the midst of this. On the news last
night the Word of God was being preached freely without question. Already the
hero tales are being told. God has already turned this horrible incident for
good. God had an off duty policeman living across the street to hear the
shots and call it in as he was running across the street putting on his vest
with his gun and radio in his hands. Remember the gunman went into that
church with the intent to die. I say this as he all but destroyed his home
before he went to the church. He had 10 clips of ammunition. He had every
intention of doing more damage then he did.
Last night was one young lady's first time with our youth group (her dad
called me frantic wanting to know where his daughter was) and even with
satan's attack last night on the children of God she asked if should could
ride the school bus to our house on Weds. so she could go to church. Satan
will not win!
This has given me an opportunity to pray with a young lady over the phone who
recently was saved. She was so scared, she had been at a SYATP rally with
our uth group. She called me three times before she told me she was scared
and we prayed together. She received her heavenly tongue last night so I
told her to use it be strong and not let satan take away what God had already
given her which is the victory. After we prayed she was calm and able to go
to bed. God is the God of Peace.
I believe that all the victims who died last night have a ticket straight to
heaven. Those who are killed in the name of the Lord are blessed and I pray
that their families take comfort in that. Pray for this body as they have a
powerful witness. Something wonderful is or will be happening there
otherwise satan wouldn't feel the need to attack it so directly and boldly.
