All,
This week the Montana District of RR is tearfully celebrating the
homegoing of one of the most godly men this ranger leader has ever had
the privilege of calling friend and brother.
Last Mon. Cmdr. Rich Standing Buffalo Roybal died while doing one of his
favorite things: fishing. Rich loved the boys, his sons, his beloved
wife, Judy and most of all, his Lord & Savior. The one word that sums
Rich up is faithful.
Rich served his country in Viet Nam for three years. He served his
Savior in Royal Rangers for 27 years. He will be buried today with full
honors.
During Rich's time in rangers he never missed a Pow Wow. Ranger Mountain
will be strangely empty without his ever-present smile, as will his
local church.
We will miss him terribly. Please pray for Judy and his sons, Tony &
Roger.
